Pride Season

Pride Season takes place throughout the Spring semester and includes events like speakers, performances, film screenings, athletic events, our annual Rainbow Graduation, and more!

 

Pride Season 2023 kicked off with a visit from poet Missy Fuego (cosponsored by Chicano Programs) and included other events like the Women's Basketball Pride Game, a screening of the film Happening (cosponsored by the Creative Media Institute and Students For Reproductive Rights), a celebration and panel on Transgender Day of Visibility (cosponsored by Asian and Pacific Islander Programs, Chicano Programs, American Indian Programs, and Black Programs), the Pride Season 2023 Drag Show hosted by Spacee Kadett, a screening of the film Sirens (cosponsored by API Programs, The NMSU International Club, the NMSU Department of Borderlands and Ethnic Studies, and CMI), and concluded with Rainbow Graduation in May.
