October 7, 2025 - Important update on RespectEDU (Title IX) initiative
Dear Aggies,
Thank you to everyone who has already completed or begun the RespectEDU training module this semester. We appreciate your patience and commitment as we continue to refine this important initiative.
Due to ongoing technical updates and platform integration work, we are extending the timeline for completing the RespectEDU module. Students are now encouraged to complete the training by the end of this academic year (May 2026).
The RespectEDU program is designed to help every Aggie make informed, respectful decisions and to build healthy relationships within our community. The 45-minute online course covers topics such as consent, communication, bystander intervention, and support resources.
If you have not yet started or would like more information about the RespectEDU course provided by Vector Solutions, the NMSU RespectEDU website can provide you with more details.
We also recognize that the course includes sensitive material related to sexual harassment, assault, dating violence, or stalking. If you find this content distressing or wish to talk with someone, please reach out to any of the offices or services listed below for support. You may also request an exemption or alternative learning option by completing the following online request form OR copy/paste this URL: https://forms.office.com/r/XiewCp53Ah.

September 16, 2025 - September 16, 2025 is National Voter Registration Day
Howdy Aggies!
Federal and state elections are just over a month away. For many of you, this will be your first major election to cast your vote. As a reminder, there are a few steps you must take before you go to the polls.
REGISTER to Vote: You must register to vote if you have not done so. The deadline to register is coming up – so get the 411 on NM voting registration processes!
LEARN about Candidates & Issues: You SHOULD learn about the candidates. Read, read, read all about them and become knowledgeable about the issues!
ASK and ENCOURAGE Others: Ask your friends if they are registered to vote. Encourage them to take action by becoming a registered voter and plan to go together.
For more information on voter registration, visit: www.NMvote.org, National Voter Registration Day, or vote.gov
